Needs Based Behavior
Two individuals who have the same values on a particular situation, may approach that situation differently depending upon their personal behavioral traits. This seminar presents a plan to help leaders understand themselves and others in a specific environment. The leader is the central focus as they heighten their understanding of their behavioral traits and identify the environment most conducive to their success. At the same time, they learn about the differences of others and the environment others require for maximum productivity and teamwork in the organization.
This seminar will help leaders:
- Build productive teams
- Develop effective team members
- Ease frustration and conflict
- Increase awareness of and appreciation for different behavioral traits
- Anticipate and minimize potential conflicts with others
Learning Objectives
- Identify a wide range of behavioral differences among people
- State the importance of self-awareness
- State the importance of focusing on behavior
- Describe the four Dimensions of Behavior
- Identify your highest Dimension(s) of Behavior
- Describe your needs based behavioral tendencies and strengths
- Identify your Classical Profile Pattern
- Explain how your pattern exhibits itself in your behavior
- Explain how all the Dimensions of Behavior like to be treated
- Identify ways to adapt your behavior to all the Dimensions of Behavior
- Describe how each Dimension of Behavior contributes to the team or organization
- Prepare a back-at-work action plan
This is a four to eight-hour seminar. The length depends upon specific customer objectives.
