Effective Discipline -The Seven Tests of Just Cause
Ever take disciplinary action against an employee only to have it overturned in review? That can be pretty frustrating and very ineffective at inspiring an employee to change their behavior. Further, it undermines your effectiveness as a leader. Therefore, it is essential that all disciplinary actions meet the seven tests of just cause. Do you know what those seven tests of just cause are?
It's hard to play the game, if you don't know the rules. For discipline to be effective, you must play by the rules of just cause. This seminar thoroughly reviews each of the seven tests of just cause. Students analyze various scenarios to determine which, if any, test of just cause has not been met. They are asked to "be the judge" on several real-life cases.
This seminar is often combined with the Documenting Discipline seminar to make an eight-hour course. Together, they provide the tools necessary to ensure your progressive discipline is effective.
