The issue is values. Not just any values, but those values we believe to be honorable, true, and right. LDN advocates Values-Based Leadership as the foundation of all leadership activities. To take Values-Based Leadership one step further, LDN promotes living in accordance with these basic values, not just in our leadership roles, but in all aspects of life: Excellence in All We Do Treat People With Dignity and Respect Ultimately, the goal of Values-Based Leadership is to encourage you to live an ever-increasing life of principle. But before that will ever happen, you've got to be willing to examine your own motivation, ethics, and points of view, including your own principles and values. Values-Based Leadership can happen anywhere-in the car, at work, with family, with friends. Wherever you are, you're in a position to demonstrate Values-Based Leadership. We realize this guide won't be your first exposure to the concept of values, but we hope it will encourage you to think of how values can impact your life and your role as a leader.
